Ecologist Matty Hannon sets off alone to surf the west coast of the Americas by motorbike, travelling from Alaska towards Patagonia. When his plans unexpectedly fall apart, the journey takes a completely different turn — including love, a slower way of travelling and four charismatic horses.
Filmed over 16 years, The Road to Patagonia becomes a story about adventure, connection and our relationship with the natural world.
