Might Be Magic presents DOC MARTIN + BRETT JOHNSON at XuXa.Four decades of house. One intimate room.
A true pioneer of West Coast house music, Doc Martin has been shaping underground dancefloors since 1986. From the early San Francisco acid house scene and legendary Los Angeles warehouse parties to Fabric, Panorama Bar, Circoloco and beyond, his influence runs deep.
Known for his instinctive, genre-spanning sets, Doc moves effortlessly between deep house, acid, disco, tribal rhythms and techno. Never confined to one sound, he’s spent four decades building a reputation as one of underground house music’s most respected selectors.
Joining him is Austin’s own Brett Johnson, a celebrated producer and DJ whose distinctive, groove-driven productions have made him a longtime fixture in underground house music. Brett opens the night, setting the tone for what’s sure to be a special session.
We’re bringing these two together at XuXa, our intimate warehouse space, powered by the legendary Electric Pickle sound system.
No big stage. No barriers. Just great music on a proper sound system.
