Dust off your dancing shoes and prepare to cut loose! The explosive 1980's rock 'n' roll musical bursts onto the River Campus stage. When city boy Ren McCormack moves to the strict, small town of Bomont, he is shocked to discover a local ban on dancing and rock music. Ren sets out to bring life back to the town, finding unexpected romance and understanding along the way. This high-energy Dobbins Conservatory production features the Oscar-nominated hits you know and love, including "Holding Out for a Hero," "Let's Hear It for the Boy," "Almost Paradise," and of course, "Footloose." Many thanks to our friends at Commerce Bank and the City of Cape Girardeau for their generous support of the Dobbins Conservatory 2026-2027 season.
