We’re kicking off our newest Affinities initiative, Do Good Detroit, with a creative evening out at the Gesher Clubhouse for Common Good. We’ll be joining members of the Clubhouse for dinner followed by a collaborative hands-on art project led by Creative Expressions, Gesher’s on-site artistic enrichment program offering visual arts, sculpture, music and more for Clubhouse members. Together, we will create two projects: a collaborative piece of art that will be auctioned off at The Samantha Woll Center for Jewish life with proceeds donated to Gesher Human Services, and we’ll each make something small to take home or donate. $18 includes pizza dinner and art project.
Dietary laws observed.
Please RSVP in advance by October 29 at https://jlive.app/events/17815
This event is open to volunteers of all ages 18+.

About Gesher Human Services’ Clubhouse for Common Good
The Clubhouse for the Common Good (CCG) is a unique space where individuals with mental health challenges can find purpose, support and a sense of belonging. CCG operates on an evidence-based model developed by Clubhouse International, focusing on a work-ordered day that encourages collaboration between members and staff. Whether preparing meals, organizing events or handling administrative duties, everyone plays a vital role in keeping the Clubhouse running. This structure not only builds essential skills but also fosters deep connections and personal growth.
