The Ibertrio is a classical trio with a violin violoncello and piano. The trio was founded in 2016 with the intention of raising awareness of classical music written for this formation from Classicism to our days.
The premiere of the piece “Epigraph on a Popular Ukrainian Theme” by composer Nuno Jacinto which is dedicated to the Ibertrio took place in 2022.
In 2023 Ibertrio was awarded the Platinum Award obtained the best score representing Portugal and was named Artist of the Month for July at the “European Classical Music Awards” as well as obtaining First Prize at the “3rd Lugano International Music Competition”.
In 2024 Ibertrio wins the “Annual Diamond Prize” and the “Annual Grand Champion” for Chamber Music at the “European Classical Music Awards”.
