DNA Presents Comedy on First Fridays:

An Evening with DNA and Too Weird for America

Comedian DNA is presenting his new hour, entitled Too Weird for America. In May 2026, DNA released his first hour on Punchline Records called Dark Horse. The album won praise from comics around the country and sat in the #1 position at Amazon Top 50 New Comedy albums for several weeks.

In Too Weird for America, DNA takes on Fringe Culture, Conformity, AI and through his most transparent, honest and authentic stories, weaves an unbelievable tale.

You don't have to be a weirdo to like this show, but if you are, you're going to love it. Plus comedy from opener Phil Griffiths!

Bio:

DNA has appeared on NPR's Snap Judgement and has curated 5,000 community events in Northern and Central California. He currently sits on the BOD of Comedy Day in Robin Williams Meadow and is pushing his movie MESSIAH INK through the film festival circuit. DNA's dog is about to weigh more than him.

“I love DNA’s new album, “Dark Horse.” He’s smart, he’s silly, he’s dark, he’s light. He jokes about loss and family, drugs and survival. Just about everything you need to hear about on a comedy album these days. Stream it, download it, consume it NOW.”
– Comic Laurie Kilmartin

“I loved listening to DNA’s debut album, DARK HORSE. It’s a super fun roller coaster of a look into the brain and heart of a singular artist who is funny and weird in the best way and very much himself. And that is coming from the brain and heart of someone who is funny and weird and very much MYself.”
– Comic Myq Kaplan

“There’s a comfort in watching someone do stand up for decades; you can let yourself feel happy and safe in where the comedy is about to go. You know it’s going to be funny, but DNA also lets the audience think. DARK HORSE is just fun.”
– Comic Jackie Kashian

Phil Griffiths – Bio:

As far as mid-life crises go, Phil Griffiths’ wife stacks his career in stand-up comedy as better than a drug addiction but worse than him having a mistress. Phil has opened for Kevin Nealon, Joe List, Beth Stelling, Chad Daniels, Greg Fitzsimmons, Ms. Pat, Laurie Kilmartin, Kyle Kinane, Jackie Kashian, and more. Phil has most recently performed in the Limestone, Flyover, Bergamot and SLO Comedy Festivals.
