Connect + Elevate is Nova’s signature monthly gathering in the DMV, created for seasoned women and non-binary professionals who want meaningful connection, thoughtful conversation, and growth that actually feels aligned with their lives. This isn’t about filling a calendar or working a room. It’s about spending your time with people who make you think differently, feel more like yourself, and leave you feeling more seen than when you arrived.

We begin with guided connection around our theme of the month — not icebreakers, but intentional dialogue that moves purposefully into real conversation. The structure is designed to help you meet people you are so excited to know, without forcing performance or small talk.
You’ll leave this portion with a sense of who’s in the room and who you want to continue the conversation with outside the room.

ELEVATE
In the second half, a Nova member leads a short, live workshop rooted in lived experience. These sessions are practical, relevant, and grounded — offering insight you can apply immediately.
Topics vary month to month and include leadership, money, visibility, communication, wellbeing, or sustainable success. Each workshop is designed to elevate both the member leading and the collective intelligence of the room.
Expect a thoughtful and engaging conversation designed to help you reflect, connect, and walk away with insights you can immediately put into practice

OCTOBER’S THEME: Sustainable Success
What if success could feel steady, nourishing, and aligned — instead of draining? This month is about redefining success through the lens of sustainability. We’ll explore how to pursue meaningful goals without falling into overdrive and how to design a rhythm of work and life that supports both your impact and your energy. You’ll leave with a deeper understanding of how to expand without exhaustion — and how to let “enough” feel like a full expression of your brilliance.
