Guitarist and composer Stéphane Wrembel brings Django New Orleans back to New York City for a three-night engagement at The Pocket, November 6–8.
A dynamic ensemble led by Wrembel, Django New Orleans brings together the infectious rhythms and brass-band traditions of New Orleans with the fiery improvisation and swinging spirit of Django Reinhardt’s Jazz Manouche. The result is a joyful, high-energy celebration that bridges musical traditions while creating something entirely its own.
The band’s second album, Django New Orleans II – Hors-Série, was released digitally in November 2025, followed by its vinyl release in May 2026. The album builds on the acclaimed 2023 debut, featuring two original Wrembel compositions and a new dimension to the ensemble’s sound, including Stéphane’s vocal debut.
