• How to connect to a mixer and sound system.
• What to check before the music starts, and what to bring to an event.
• Common technical problems and backup options.
• Equipment costs: what is worth investing in?

DJ Seminar 2: The Music
Thursday, 19 November 2026 | 19:15–21:15
How do individual songs become a tanda, and tandas become an evening of dancing? We’ll explore:
• What to focus on when creating a tanda, and which music fits well together.
• Ready playlists, prepared tandas, or choosing on the go.
• What to watch and listen for during a DJ set, and how to respond to the dance floor.
• Is DJing an art, a service—or both?
Everyone is welcome—DJs, future DJs, and curious dancers.
Seminar will be in English.
