🇹🇭 👇🏻Justin Mills, better known as DJ Justin M, has been part of Bangkok’s alternative music scene for more than two decades, going back to the Bed Supperclub years.
🎶 His sets move through house, funk, hip-hop, nu-jazz, nu-soul, electronica, Latin, psychedelic funk and other less obvious corners of the record collection. The mix changes with the room and the hour, which is one reason he has stayed relevant for so long.
🏙️ Justin also has a long history with Smalls, including a period as one of the bar’s regular resident DJs. He was also involved with BassClef, the Bangkok collective that helped build the city’s drum-and-bass and soundsystem scene in the 2010s.
💿 He still approaches a night like a proper selector: digging deep, avoiding the predictable stuff and trusting the room enough to take it somewhere unexpected.
