DIY Dinner Disaster ft. Taiwanese BBQ!Mid-Autumn Festival (中秋節) is coming up! Across Asia, it’s known for mooncakes (月餅), but in Taiwan, there's another yummy tradition you might not expect.
In Taiwan, celebrating Mid-Autumn means a street-side / in-front-of-the-house BBQ. If you haven’t experienced a real down-to-earth (literally) Taiwanese BBQ, join our volunteers to see what goes on a Taiwanese grill and it's definitely not burgers or hot dogs!
DIY Dinner Disaster ft. Taiwanese BBQ

* Difficulty level: ⭐⭐⭐☆☆ (need some team work)
* Cap: 8 people max
* Volunteers: Kathy, Daphny, Abby ✨
Free event (free venue + lovely volunteers). Participants will split the cost of ingredients, which shouldn’t exceed NTD$300-400 per person.
We’ll meet, shop at PX Mart for ingredients, prepare the dishes together, get grilling, enjoy the food as a group and clean up at the end. Daphny kindly offers to share some tea to refresh the palate 🍵
To join, 𝗽𝗹𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝗺𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗙𝗮𝗰𝗲𝗯𝗼𝗼𝗸 𝗣𝗮𝗴𝗲. We will create a group chat for meeting details — P.S. the admin will be offline for a bit and will respond on Sept 9 once she is back. Thank you for your patience.
(Due to space limitation, this experience is prioritized for international friends who haven’t experienced Taiwanese Mid-Autumn BBQ before.
