When Mary returns home after serving time in prison, she walks back into a household filled with hostility where her daughters are grappling with their past. Long-hidden truths emerge, exposing a history that has fractured and changed their lives. Each woman must confront not only what they have been through, but what they’ve done to survive.
Dixon and Daughters is a vital and timely work. Balancing heartbreak with moments of surprising humour, this is a story about the courage it takes to confront pain, the complexity of forgiveness and the possibility of breaking generational cycles.
