About this Event
Disclaimer: you might leave with paint on your hands, henna on your palm, and a very full stomach.
Diwali is India’s Festival of Lights, the biggest celebration of the year. Homes glow with little clay oil lamps, families come together over festive food, and everyone celebrates light winning over darkness. This year, we’re bringing that feeling to Dresden, and you’re invited.
The food
Enjoy a festive menu, a traditional Indian meal with several small dishes served as we would at our homes on Diwali. Choose veg or non-veg options at the restaurant on the night.
The table activities
Want to get creative? Each activity is €10, and everything you need is waiting at your table:
- Diya painting: paint your own clay lamp and take it home to light up your evening.
- Block printing: stamp traditional Indian patterns onto a small cotton pouch using wooden blocks. Yours to keep.
- Henna: our henna artist will paint a beautiful design on your hand, a tradition at Indian celebrations.
Activities are limited each slot, and once they’re gone, they’re gone. Prefer to just eat and enjoy? That’s perfectly fine too.
How it works
Reserving your spot is free. You pay for your food and any activities directly at the restaurant, by cash or card.
Only 100 spots per time slot. Bring your friends, family, colleagues, and kids, and celebrate the Festival of Lights with us.
See you there ❤️
