Dear all,Our Diwali celebration is approaching, and this year it is going to be a big celebration!
The event will be held on Sunday, 8 November 2026, at Kuopio Theatre, and it is open to the people of Kuopio. We now have a wonderful opportunity to celebrate Diwali together with the people of Kuopio.
To make this celebration a grand success, we are putting together volunteer teams, and we would really appreciate your support and participation.
I kindly request you to join at least one volunteer team and be part of the Diwali organising committee. You can choose a team based on your interest:
Decoration & Lighting Committee – venue decoration and creating the Diwali ambience
Indian Street Food Team – planning and coordinating Indian street food
Indian Stall Team – managing Indian stalls and related activities
Please DM me and let me know which team you would like to join.
This is a community celebration, and with everyone's support, ideas, and enthusiasm, we can make this Diwali a truly memorable event for everyone in Kuopio.
Let’s come together and make Diwali 2026 a grand success!
Looking forward to your participation!
Warm regards,
ICA ry
