THE LEGEND OF SLEEPY HOLLOW – The Walt Disney Studios’ animated adaptation of Washington Irving’s tale — narrated and sung by Bing Crosby — remains one of the most enduring pieces of Sleepy Hollow storytelling ever made. In just 34 minutes, it captures Ichabod Crane’s arrival in the Hudson Valley, his rivalry with Brom Bones, and the fateful ride through the woods. Originally released as half of The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr. Toad, this short precedes select family features throughout the series. This one is home movies for us — we’re proud to open our screenings with it.
THE ADDAMS FAMILY – Barry Sonnenfeld’s live-action debut brings Charles Addams’ beloved macabre clan to gleefully gothic life. When a con man arrives at the Addams mansion claiming to be Gomez’s long-lost brother Fester, the household descends into a battle over inheritance, identity, and the correct use of dynamite. Raúl Juliá and Anjelica Huston define Gomez and Morticia for a generation, and Christina Ricci sets the template for a modern Wednesday. A perfect gateway into horror-adjacent territory for younger audiences and their parents alike.
