THE LEGEND OF SLEEPY HOLLOW – The Walt Disney Studios’ animated adaptation of Washington Irving’s tale — narrated and sung by Bing Crosby — remains one of the most enduring pieces of Sleepy Hollow storytelling ever made. In just 34 minutes, it captures Ichabod Crane’s arrival in the Hudson Valley, his rivalry with Brom Bones, and the fateful ride through the woods. Originally released as half of The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr. Toad, this short precedes select family features throughout the series. This one is home movies for us — we’re proud to open our screenings with it.

A murderous new nanny (a scene-stealing Joan Cusack) sets her sights on Uncle Fester, while Wednesday and Pugsley are shipped off to a punishingly cheerful summer camp — where Wednesday plots her revenge on Thanksgiving pageantry itself. Christina Ricci’s deadpan delivery is one of the great comic performances of the ’90s. Sharper, weirder, and funnier than most family comedies ever manage.
