This guided tour explores the findings of a research project conducted by volunteers at Nantwich Museum. Using archaeological, archival, and mapping evidence, the project found Nantwich to be a planned, economically significant medieval town. We will explore burgage plots, castle layouts, and the hallmarks of salt production.
