About this Event
Discover Volunteering with Crystal Palace Park
Come along and discover how you can get involved as a volunteer at Crystal Palace Park.
Join us for short demonstrations and tours with our volunteer team, and meet some of the people who already give their time to the Park. You’ll have the chance to hear about their experiences, ask questions and find out more about what it’s like to volunteer with us.
There will be information about our current and upcoming volunteer opportunities, including:
Welcome Volunteers – helping visitors and supporting the Visitor Centre, Museum and Park.
Gardening Volunteers – practical gardening sessions twice a week, on Wednesday and Sunday mornings.
Our Volunteer Supervisors will be on hand to tell you more about the different opportunities and help you find a role that’s right for you. You can also register your interest on the day.
Whether you can give a few hours occasionally or would like to volunteer regularly, there are lots of ways to get involved and make a difference to the Park.

Accessability
Our Visitor Centre is step-free and has an accessible toilet on site. There is also a Changing Places toilet nearby.
We welcome disabled volunteers and are happy to talk to you about your individual needs and make adjustments to our volunteering opportunities where possible.
Some opportunities, including those in the Subway and Museum, take place in venues that are not currently accessible to people who use wheelchairs. If you’re interested in volunteering, please talk to us about your access needs and we’ll be happy to discuss the opportunities available.

We will ask for a reference as part of your volunteering, and we ask for you to let us know if you have any unspent convictions. This is part of our duty of care.
