The first hour will be an introduction to tools and techniques. In the second hour, you will be invited to use these tools and techniques to create a watercolor graphite painting of your own under the guidance of the instructor. In the third hour you will be shown simple techniques to tweak your work so as to really bring it alive.
All skill levels invited. All art materials provided. You need bring nothing but your curiosity and a desire to make something beautiful.
ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR:
Steven Edgar Bradbury is a Florida-based pleinair artist who studied studio art at Cooper Union and Chinese painting and calligraphy in Taiwan, but honed his “pine noir” style along the banks of the Ichetucknee River. Though he occasionally works in pastel and other colored media, he gravitates to graphite because he loves its shimmery blacks and thousand shades of silver and gray.
