About this Event
For the November edition of the 2026 Discover Rouge Park: Monthly Meetup series, we will be meeting up at the Prairie Pathway Trailhead (North) on Outer Drive for a family-friendly fall group walk. The walk will be a little under 2 miles with multiple prairie plants and micro-ecosystems to admire along the way. We will also get a chance to see and talk about the green stormwater infrastructure project nestled in the prairie.
We will be joining the Rouge Park Hiking Club which meets every week at 1 of 4 trails in Rouge Park Sundays at 2pm. More information about the hiking club, including signing up for the weekly reminders can be found on
If you're looking to get some movement in, enjoy some fresh air, meet new people, hear some bird calls or even collect prairie seeds while hiking, this is a great event for you!
Accesibility Information: flat, unpaved, and mostly even ground. Wear close-toed shoes and dress for the weather. We will be walking at a moderate pace but you are welcome to join at your own speed.
Parking available on Outer Drive.
