Join park naturalist Dennis Krusac for a relaxed evening hike as we experience Price Park at dusk. As the sun sets and the park begins to transition into night, Dennis will share fascinating facts about the plants, wildlife, and natural rhythms of the evening.Learn how bats use echolocation to navigate and hunt insects, and if conditions are right, we may see them begin their nightly flight. As darkness settles in, keep an eye out for the gentle glow of fireflies along the trail.
And if we’re lucky, Dennis may even treat us to his famous owl call! This is a wonderful Fall evening and an opportunity to reconnect with nature, and experience the park in a whole new way.
