Step into the meditative world of Kinusaiga, a Japanese art form created in the 1980s that turns fabric remnants into rich, mosaic-like pictures—entirely without sewing! By tucking fabric edges into patterned grooves, you create a tactile, textured piece of art that looks like a fabric stained-glass window. In this relaxing, beginner-friendly class, guest artist Jessica will guide you step-by-step through designing a vibrant sun and scenic landscape. You will have access to a colorful palette of fabric scraps to make your composition completely your own.
It is a remarkably calming, tactile craft—perfect for unwinding solo or spending creative time alongside friends. Everyone leaves with a completed 8" x 11" framed fabric art piece ready to display.
