On Saturday 17th October, Alchemic Kitchen CIC are hosting a Disco Chop at Lister Steps to celebrate what we call ‘Cinderella veggies’.
Once upon a time, "Cinderella veggies" were overlooked, underappreciated, or considered humble or ‘ugly’. So, Alchemic Kitchen decided to host Disco Chop events to transform these in to delicious dishes never to be overlooked again…
Between 12pm - 2pm we’ll be chopping, dancing and eating together cooking up delicious dishes celebrating a whole array of veggies. The event is free to attend but please book a ticket so that we know numbers.
Participants are invited to prep and share a delcious meal which stops food going to waste!
There will also be a crafts station set up by Lister Steps, including block printing on tote bags.
