care. Lecture & hands-on with dr. Dana Colson
About this Event
Course Description
Discover how the next generation of diode lasers is transforming everyday dental
care. With breakthrough wavelengths like 450 nm, in addition to the 976 nm
infrared for bacteria reduction and pain therapy and 650 nm red for accelerated
wound healing, clinicians can now perform procedures with 2–3x faster cutting
speeds, greater precision, and less patient discomfort—all while improving healing
outcomes. Whether you're a seasoned laser user or just getting started, this
immersive, hands-on course introduces you to a full spectrum of applications in
both restorative and periodontal care. Explore how diode lasers can enhance
clinical workflow, expand your treatment capabilities, and elevate patient
satisfaction. This unique learning opportunity blends laser fundamentals, live
demonstrations, and hands-on training to empower your team with practical,
immediately applicable skills.
Learning Objectives

Having graduated from Dentistry in 1977 from the University of Toronto,
I was fascinated with how the health of the body was reflected in the mouth.
I chose the profession of dentistry because I was determined to overcome
my fear of dentistry and help others.
I believe that our clients need to be provided with significant information
about their mouth and the various options that are available to them so that
we can co-diagnose and co-explore the different opportunities together.
Today the technology allows us to create amazing results with minimally
invasive dentistry.
