Danny Kanell - the Fort Lauderdale native who took the Florida State offense and delivered a Sugar Bowl and an Orange Bowl as the Seminoles' starting quarterback - takes the stage Tuesday, September 29, at The Champions Club.
He finished his career with 6,372 passing yards and 57 touchdown throws, earned ACC Player of the Year honors in 1995, and went in the fourth round to the New York Giants. He started in the NFL, then built one of the sharpest national voices in the sport: CBS Sports, the Cover 3 podcast, and mornings on SiriusXM College Sports Radio. He is a Florida State Athletics Hall of Famer.
