DIMITRIS MAHLIS is a multi-instrumentalist and composer based in LosAngeles.Since coming to LA, Dimitris' skills on oud, guitar and other stringed instrumentshave led him into a rich variety of performing and recording experiences withsome of the best domestic and international artists in the Los Angeles area.Dimitris has had the good fortune to receive training in both Western and Easternmusical systems. First at the Berklee College of music in Boston, later Oud andmakam Studies in Istanbul Turkey With Master Necati Celik.Dimitris’s playingstyle on multiple instruments has been described as Earthy, poetic, soulful andoriginal. His compositions have set a standard for cross cultural pollination.Some recording credits include the soundtrack for the Oscar winning film"Argo"With composer Alexander Desplat. "Huun Huur Tu" and the records “TunisianTale,” “Malak,” And “Babel Mdina,”with Producer Carmen Rizzo and “Tunisianvocalist Meriem Ben Amor.The album“Vino" with Robi Draco Rosa, “O Samanos.” With Thanasis Papakonstantinouand Dionysios Savvopoulos, and the upcoming release for Persian superstarMansour.Dimitris also composed the music for the recent short film " Coffee andSugar"and is featured on the soundtrack of the recent films”The Angel” “TheAlgerian” and others. He has just finished Filming as part of the ensemble” TheMighty Mighty” for the upcoming PBS Special “Decoding Musical Tastes” And herecently completed performances for the Groundbreaking “Gilgamesh the Opera”based on the ancient epic of Gilgamesh.Dimitris has performed and toured throughout the world with artists such as PerlaBatalla, A.R.Rahman, Ebi Hamedi, Dionisis Savopoulos, Freddie Hubbard,Thanasis Papakonstantinou, and Azar Lawrence to name a few.


CHRIS WABICH is a well-known, originalvoice on drumset, steel drum, and percussion in Los Angeles. Thevariety of artists he works with reflects his versatility as bothmusician and producer. He is heard with Ludacris, Sting, LeonardCohen, Stanley Jordan, Brian Johnson (AC/DC) Sheila E., MarkMurphy, "Joe's Garage" produced by Gail Zappa and the ZappaFamily, Steve Tyrell, Billy Vera, John Oats (Hall and Oates), Turkishsuperstar Omar Faruk, Trinidad superstar Boogsie Sharpe, ProgRock legends Kevin Ayers (Soft Machine), and Richard Sinclair(Caravan). Soundtracks include "Malcolm in the Middle", "AmericanIdol", "Better Homes and Gardens", "Wild California" IMAX, and LaloShifrin's "After The Sunset". Recently Chris was a recipient of theCOLA master solo artist grant, making him thefirst percussionist toever perform a solo show at LA Grand performances series (showon June 2024).


JERRY WATTS JR. is multi-Grammy winning bassist, producer, and educator, havingworked with a truly eclectic mix of artists at the highest levels of pop, rock, jazz, groove,and world beat musics. In addition, JW has appeared on hundreds of records,numerous film /TV soundtracks, live concert videos, garnering extensive internationaltouring experience in the process. The bassist first made his markalongside drumming legend David Garibaldi as a member of the group WishfulThinking, which led to recordings with the likes of Andy Summers, Dave Stewart,Keith Emerson, Peter Cetera, and Simon Phillips; tours with Mylène Farmer,Sergio Mendes, Dori Caymmi, and Bobby Caldwell; and live hits with Andraé Crouch,Billy Childs, Bobby Caldwell, Keiko Matsui, and Dr. John, to name just a few.Jerry remains deeply committed to collaborating with original, creative artists ofevery stripe, most recently as a contributing member of the John Daversa, DanRosenboom, Dimitris Mahlis, and Zane Carney groups. In parallel with his performancecareer, Watts is a highly respected clinician and educator, and served as BassDepartment Chair at Los Angeles College of Music (LACM) from 2005-2025).


"A listener that plays,” DANIEL ROTEM is a saxophonist, composer, arranger,producer, and educator.Growing up by the Mediterranean Sea, Daniel fell inlove with jazz as a teenager and found in it a limitless space for expression.He is a graduate of Berklee College of Music and the Thelonious MonkInstitute of Jazz (now the Herbie Hancock Institute).Daniel has performed and recorded with artists including Herbie Hancock,Wayne Shorter, Billy Childs, Dianne Reeves, Stevie Wonder, ChristianMcBride, Terri Lyne Carrington, Luciana Souza, and Anat Cohen, appearing atfestivals and venues around the world. An award-winning composer andsongwriter, he has released seven albums and composed the original scorefor the filmMentally Al. His most recent release,Solo II – Under Constructionat bluewhale, was recorded live in the unfinished new home of the legendaryLos Angeles jazz venue, where the raw acoustics of the space became anintegral part of his intimate solo saxophone performance.
