Solihull College are delivering Digital Skills Training at Solihull Recruitment and Training centre from Monday 21 September to Monday 30 November 2026 - 1pm to 3pm.
This basic1o IT course provides a practical introduction for those who are new to using ICT/Computers or for those who would like to refresh, build their confidence. The course enables you to work on the aspects of computing that interest you in work and everyday life.
The course will cover:
• Displaying information using ICT - create a document for a specific purpose, menu, letter, poster; create a spreadsheet inserting text, numbers and formulae
• Using ICT to find information - use effective search techniques/methods to find information/documents;
• Communicating information using ICT - digitally communicate via email, teams, sending and receiving documents;
• Computer Safety - how to stay safe online
Eligibility criteria:
- Aged 19+
- Living in Solihull
