The Dungeons and Dragons group, facilitated by Lisa Luke, LMHC, was created to give teens, ages 14-17, a place to feel connection and belonging. The Clinical Game Master creates and provides a safe space for participants to explore identity, practice emotion regulation skills in the moment, build communication skills, and build confidence. Participants are encouraged to work together as they problem solve social situations, critically think through puzzles, and resolve conflict within a world specially created for them.No prior experience in Dungeons and Dragons or materials are needed. Just bring yourself and an open mind. Participation in individual therapy for duration of the group is a must. Limited openings for 7 youth, waiting list available for future groups. This 12-session group meets on Wednesday, 9/9, 9/16, 9/23, 9/30, 10/7, 10/28, 11/4, 11/11, 11/18, 12/2, 12/9, 12/16. $599 per youth.
