Join us at the Greenville Humane Society on Tuesday, October 27 as we honor the cherished pets who have left paw prints on our hearts during our Día de los Muertos celebration.This family-friendly event is a time to come together as a community to celebrate the lives of the animals we have loved, lost, and will always remember. Throughout the evening, guests can enjoy kid-friendly activities, educational displays about the traditions and meaning of Día de los Muertos, snacks, entertainment, and a welcoming space for reflection.
A community ofrenda (altar) will be available, and we warmly invite you to bring a favorite photo of a beloved pet to place on the altar. Whether they were with you for a lifetime or just a short while, we welcome you to honor their memory alongside ours.
Everyone is welcome - whether you're remembering a lifelong companion, learning about this beautiful tradition, or simply looking to celebrate the incredible bond between people and their pets.
