Casa Guanajuato Kennett Square Invites You to Celebrate Día de los Muertos 2026!Casa Guanajuato Kennett Square is finalizing preparations for our annual Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) celebration, taking place on Saturday, October 31, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Kennett Borough parking lot, located at 600 South Broad Street, Kennett Square, PA 19348.
This year’s celebration will honor the beautiful traditions and cultural heritage of the Mexican state of Guerrero.
Along with our traditional community altar, we are inviting local families and organizations to create their own family or community altars, providing an opportunity to remember loved ones and share meaningful traditions with the community.
We are also inviting a select group of local organizations and businesses to participate in creating colorful sawdust carpets (tapetes de aserrín)
Join us for a vibrant afternoon and evening celebrating Mexican culture, art, and remembrance, featuring:
Traditional and community altars
Colorful sawdust carpet art installations
Live music and cultural performances
Delicious traditional food
Local vendors and artisans
