The Emma S. Barrientos Mexican American Cultural Center (ESB MACC) invites the public to its 19th annual Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) This beloved tradition brings family and community together to celebrate the lives of our ancestors, family, friends, and public figures. This family-friendly, alcohol-free event will take place from 1-6:00 p.m. at the Emma S. Barrientos Mexican American Cultural Center. We will welcome the memories of our loved ones with Day of the Dead altars, art installations, & activities that foster an appreciation for the sweetness and fragility of life. The collective outdoor ofrenda (altar) will be a gathering of memories to which the public can contribute. Admission is free, and RSVP is not required, although we encourage you to RSVP on Facebook. Guests are encouraged to bring folding chairs, strollers, and refillable water bottles.
