Detecting his brother's exceptional musical talent (and grateful for a remarkable gift that brought them together), the conductor takes it upon himself to rectify the injustice of fate, despite complications that seem insurmountable. An elegant, often hilarious, undeniably affecting entertainment, The Marching Band became a box office sensation in France following its world premiere at the Cannes Film Festival.
