DeziBellas x WAVES
international Networking for FLINTA* Music Professionals
Join us for a special DeziBellas x WAVES networking event, bringing together FLINTA* professionals from across the music industry and related creative fields.
What is DeziBellas?
The name DeziBellas is inspired by the word decibel – a unit of sound. It stands for being loud, visible and present in an industry where many voices are still underrepresented.
Through networking, knowledge-sharing and mutual support, we aim to strengthen the visibility, representation and opportunities of FLINTA* professionals across the music industry.
DeziBellas was conceived by Andrea M. Junker (www.junkersbuero.com) following conversations with artists Chris de Bug (Christine Bachler) and Hanna Kristall at the Bzzz Conference 2025.
Why does it matter?
We believe that a music industry that truly reflects society must include a wide range of perspectives and experiences. Greater visibility and participation of FLINTA*, BIPoC (Black, Indigenous, People of Color) and people with refugee backgrounds contribute to a more diverse, equitable and representative industry – on stage, behind the scenes and in leadership and decision-making positions.

FLINTA* professionals working in and around the music industry, including:

• Booking, management and PR professionals (artist representation)
• Festivals, venues and event managers
• Content creators, video producers and photographers
• Marketing, social media and digital promotion professionals
• Audio, video and production professionals
• Self-managed artists (musicians, DJs)
• Stage technicians, stage managers and tour managers
• Producers, studio professionals and technical entrepreneurs
• Freelancers, employees and entrepreneurs
