🎃 DEXTER’S HALLOWEEN IS BACK, AND THIS YEAR IT’S BIGGER THAN EVER! 👻Join us in Rayleigh on 30th & 31st October for Dexter’s Halloween 2026, our Halloween walkthrough created by 13-year-old Dexter to raise money in aid of Little Havens Children’s Hospice.
What started four or five years ago with Dexter decorating our house has got slightly out of hand.
This year we’re taking over two neighbouring houses, with a scaffold-covered walkthrough featuring themed areas, lighting, effects and a fairly ridiculous collection of animatronics that Dexter has spent years building.
Expect:
🎃 Halloween walkthrough
👻 Loads of animatronics
💀 Themed rooms and displays
🕷️ Lighting, effects and scares
🍬 Treats for the children
😱 A few surprises we’re keeping quiet about
The event is suitable for families, although some areas may be scary for younger children. We’ll do our best to accommodate anyone who wants to enjoy the display without quite so many scares.
Why we do it
Dexter is 13 and completely obsessed with Halloween. He spends most of his birthday money, Christmas money and savings on animatronics and props for the event.
After visiting Little Havens Children’s Hospice, meeting the team and seeing the care they provide for children and their families, Dexter became determined to use his Halloween obsession to raise money for them.
Last year, hundreds of people visited and we raised over £1,700.
This year Dexter wants to raise £3,000.
There is no admission charge, but we’d be incredibly grateful for donations to Little Havens.
