About this Event
(English will follow)

The BCRC Legal Forum, titled “Becoming, Belonging, and Being Heard,” is a landmark gathering dedicated to exploring the lived experiences of Black youth and community members in Montréal and Québec. Rooted in the ADS+ intersectional framework, this forum creates a vital space to confront systemic discrimination, strengthen belonging, and uplift Black voices across generations.
At a time when Montréal’s Black communities continue to face disproportionate barriers in justice, healthcare, policing, and mental‑health access, this event offers a powerful opportunity for dialogue, learning, and collective action. With recent incidents, including the 2026 Montréal‑Nord police scandal, highlighting ongoing systemic issues, the forum arrives with renewed urgency and purpose.
A Focus on Belonging, Identity & Intersectionality (ADS+)
