DesignTinkers 4-day Camp 4* (Jun)

A 4-day Holiday Camp designed for children to explore exciting make-and-build projects while bringing their ideas to life through hands-on learning. Through guided exploration, students will develop dexterity, creativity, and critical thinking skills as they experiment, problem-solve, and learn new techniques.

On Days 1 and 2, students will design their very own dream bedroom. They will be introduced to Design Thinking principles to better understand their needs and preferences before planning their space. From floor layout and furniture selection to materials, colours, and textures, students will learn how to thoughtfully design an interior space.

They will then bring their ideas to life by building a personalised bedroom model, learning model-making techniques and creatively transforming everyday materials into a unique prototype of their ideal space.On Day 3 and 4, students will design and build their ideal playground + communal space, exploring what makes a playground space fun and memorable. Working in groups, students are encouraged to be creative in their findings as they apply Design Thinking principles in understanding the needs and challenges of who they are designing for.

DesignTinkers camps are thoughtfully curated and led by a passionate team of educators, architects and designers with a shared mission: to inspire and empower young minds through design. With extensive experience working with children, our instructors are dedicated to nurturing each student’s creative interests in a fun, engaging, and supportive environment. All our camps are held in our spacious and conducive classrooms where students can create and explore freely under guidance.
