Join internationally acclaimed Master Drummer Bolokada Conde for an unforgettable weekend of traditional Malinke drumming. Originally from Morowaya, Guinea, he served for more than a decade as the Lead Soloist of Les Percussions de Guinee (Guinea's National Ballet).He has taught internationally, including at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, where he was a full-time Visiting Artist from 2008-2011. He recently returned from an extended engagement in China. This is his sixth fantabulous visit to Des Moines.
