На 25 ноември ✨ Derida Dance Fest 2026 ✨ продължава с (работно заглавие) - хореографско соло на Жоана Маледон от френската компания MÂLE, избрано в селекцията Aerowaves Twenty26.
Между тялото и думите, между това, което виждаме, и онова, което предполагаме, спектакълът поставя под въпрос способността на езика да ни описва, категоризира и определя.
Едно тяло. Един LED екран. Безброй възможни значения. Пространство, в което идентичността не е окончателен отговор, а непрекъснат процес на движение и промяна.

В "(работно заглавие)“ нищо не остава непроменено задълго. Смисълът се появява, премества се, изплъзва се и изчезва, преди да успеем да го уловим.
На сцената тялото на Жоана Маледон влиза в диалог с LED екран, върху който на случаен принцип се появяват думи, видими единствено за публиката. Те произлизат от лични преживявания, срещи, различни езици и колективното въображение.
Между думите, които виждаме, и движението, което наблюдаваме, се появява постоянно напрежение. Езикът се опитва да определя, докато тялото непрекъснато се променя. Всяко движение разколебава предишното значение, всяка нова дума променя начина, по който възприемаме случващото се.
Спектакълът изследва пространството между преживяването и неговото назоваване. Между това, което сме, това, което другите виждат в нас, и категориите, чрез които светът се опитва да ни разбере.
Вместо да търси окончателна идентичност или единствена интерпретация, „(titre provisoire)“ остава в несигурността. Там, където противоречията могат да съществуват едновременно, а двусмислието се превръща във възможност за свобода и съпротива.
Кога думите ни помагат да бъдем разбрани и кога започват да ни ограничават? Можем ли да позволим на тялото да съществува отвъд определенията, които му налагаме?
✨ Жоана Маледон е хореограф и изпълнител от Френска Гвиана, базирана в Париж. Обучавала се е в Париж, Ню Йорк и Израел, а през 2019 г. основава Compagnie MÂLE.
В артистичната си практика тя разглежда тялото като сурова материя, изследвайки неговите противоречия, ограничения и възможности за преобразяване.
Носителка е на Sobanova Grand Prix и представя работата си на международни сцени, включително Festival d’Avignon. През 2026 г. е избрана за Aerowaves Twenty26.

Can words define who we are? What happens when language attempts to capture something as shifting, contradictory, and elusive as human identity?
On November 25, ✨ Derida Dance Fest 2026 ✨ continues with (titre provisoire), a choreographic solo by Johana Malédon of the French company MÂLE, selected for Aerowaves Twenty26.
Between the body and words, between what we see and what we assume, the performance questions the power of language to describe, categorise, and define us.
One body. One LED screen. Countless possible meanings. A space where identity is not a definitive answer, but an ongoing process of movement and transformation.

⚠️ Content warning: Loud sound.
In (titre provisoire), nothing stays fixed for long. Meaning emerges, shifts, slips away, and disappears before we can fully grasp it.
On stage, Johana Malédon's body enters into dialogue with an LED screen on which words appear at random, visible only to the audience. These words emerge from personal experiences, encounters, different languages, and the collective imagination.
A continuous tension develops between the words we read and the movement we witness. Language attempts to define, while the body is constantly transforming. Every gesture destabilises the previous meaning; every new word changes the way we perceive what unfolds.
The performance explores the space between experience and the act of naming it. Between who we are, what others see in us, and the categories through which the world attempts to understand us.
Rather than searching for a fixed identity or a single interpretation, (titre provisoire) inhabits uncertainty. Here, contradictions coexist, interpretations remain open, and ambiguity becomes a possibility for freedom and resistance.
When do words help us be understood, and when do they begin to confine us? Can we allow the body to exist beyond the definitions we impose upon it?
✨ Johana Malédon is a French Guianese choreographer and performer based in Paris. Trained in Paris, New York, and Israel, she founded Compagnie MÂLE in 2019.
Her artistic practice approaches the body as raw material, exploring its contradictions, limitations, and possibilities for transformation.
A recipient of the Sobanova Grand Prix, she has presented her work internationally, including at the Festival d’Avignon, and was selected for Aerowaves Twenty26.
