Following our first Derbyshire County Employer Engagement Group (CEEG) Employer Forum, we are delighted to invite employers, business leaders and partners from across the county to join us for CEEG Employer Forum 2.

About the Forum
The Derbyshire County Employer Engagement Group brings together employers from across Derbyshire to strengthen the relationship between business and the Armed Forces community.
Our ambition is simple: to help make Derbyshire one of the most Forces Friendly counties in the UK.
The CEEG Employer Forums provide an opportunity for businesses to connect, collaborate and learn from one another while discovering practical ways to support Reservists, veterans, Cadet Force Adult Volunteers, military families and the wider Armed Forces community.
Forum 2 will build on the momentum of our first event, bringing together another strong group of Derbyshire employers alongside representatives from Defence and the Armed Forces community.
What to expect
The event will provide employers with an opportunity to:
- Hear directly from the Armed Forces community and Defence representatives.
- Learn how businesses can engage with and support the Armed Forces community.
- Understand the benefits of signing the Armed Forces Covenant.
- Hear practical examples and experiences from Forces Friendly employers.
- Discover opportunities to support Reservists, veterans, Cadet Force Adult Volunteers and military families.
- Explore how Armed Forces skills and experience can benefit your organisation.
- Connect with other Derbyshire businesses and organisations.
- Share ideas, experiences and best practice.
- Find out about future CEEG activities, events and opportunities to get involved.
Whether your organisation already holds an Employer Recognition Scheme Award, has signed the Armed Forces Covenant, or is completely new to Defence engagement, you are very welcome to join us.
Who should attend?
The Forum is open to employers and organisations from across Derbyshire, including SMEs, larger employers, public-sector organisations, education providers, charities and business support organisations.
It will be particularly relevant to business owners, directors, HR professionals, recruitment and people leaders, Armed Forces Covenant leads and anyone interested in strengthening their organisation's relationship with the Armed Forces community.
You do not need to have signed the Armed Forces Covenant to attend.

About Derbyshire CEEG
The Derbyshire County Employer Engagement Group (CEEG) is an employer-led network bringing together organisations committed to supporting the Armed Forces community and encouraging greater employer engagement across Derbyshire.
The group provides a practical bridge between employers, Defence and the Armed Forces community, helping organisations understand the Armed Forces Covenant, share best practice and identify meaningful opportunities to become more Forces Friendly.
Derbyshire CEEG reports into the East Midlands Regional Employer Engagement Group.
