This course focuses on atraumatic extraction tactics for routine and tricky situations where preserving bone and soft tissue matters, then moves straight into ridge preservation and socket grafting steps you can repeat in real practice. Expect concise lecture, high-yield demos, and guided pig jaw reps on incision and flap principles, graft placement, membrane handling, and suturing—so you leave with a simple, dependable workflow that protects the ridge and supports future implant success.

By the end of this course, participants will be able to:

1. Apply atraumatic extraction techniques, including controlled sectioning when indicated, to preserve the buccal plate and soft tissue architecture.
2. Assess socket anatomy and defect patterns to determine when ridge preservation is indicated and define the primary clinical goals.
3. Perform a pig jaw ridge preservation protocol with practical flap principles, graft placement and shaping, and membrane positioning and stabilization.
4. Complete secure closure and stabilization using practical suturing choices that protect the graft and support predictable healing.
