Our first session: “Meet Me Where I Am: Understanding Dementia Through the Resident’s Eyes”
Presented by Bhawan Brar, this session will explore dementia from the perspective of those living with it. Together, we’ll learn about the challenges dementia can bring to memory, communication, perception, and everyday activities, while discovering compassionate ways to respond with understanding, patience, and connection.
At the heart of dementia care is a simple but powerful message: every person deserves dignity, safety, to feel valued, and to be loved. ❤️
Whether you are a family caregiver, a friend, or supporting someone living with dementia, you are welcome here. Let’s learn, connect, and support one another.
