About this Event
Deliver Sessions will be back in November! This time hosted by Transform at the Express Building in Ancoats. We'll have 2 talks for you, to help with navigating uncertainty, predicting the future, and making sense of everything after it's finished.
Navigating uncertainty in complex software systems
We can build more software with less effort than at any other time in our industry, but this progress comes at a cost - increasing complexity, which can lead to uncertainty in how our software behaves. This talk explores how uncertainty shapes our decisions and what we can do to work better with complexity rather than against it.
Speaker: Jitesh Gosai is a Principal Tester in the BBC’s Mobile Group, working across the department on some of the UK’s biggest apps. With 20+ years in testing and quality engineering, he helps teams build quality in by improving feedback loops, testability, and ways of working that support learning in complex systems. Jitesh shares practical insights at conferences across Europe and in his Quality Engineering Newsletter.
Beyond “In or Out”: Making Space for Better Conversations About AI
Retrospectives help teams explore what’s working, what isn’t, and what needs to change. Can we bring that same openness to conversations about AI? This talk explores how we move beyond binary positions, make room for different views and concerns, and help teams have honest, nuanced conversations about what AI means for their work.
Speaker: Ben Flannery is a Principal Consultant at Transform.
Huge thanks to Transform for hosting the event and providing refreshments.
