Join the DeKalb County Planning & Sustainability Department for the first DeKalb Community Academy "Stephenson 101" meeting in your community!
DeKalb Community Academy is designed to help residents better understand their community, local planning, County resources, and the processes that shape where they live, work, and play.
During this first community meeting, we will:
- Introduce the Stephenson 101 initiative and its purpose.
- Share a community snapshot using local data and observations.
- Discuss community strengths, challenges, opportunities, and areas of concern.
- Provide information about planning, zoning, housing, revitalization, transportation, sustainability, and other community resources.
- Hear directly from residents about the issues and priorities that matter most to them.
- Identify opportunities for residents to become more involved in their community.
- Learn how resident feedback will help shape the future Stephenson 101 through different activities.
This meeting is an opportunity to learn, ask questions, share your experiences, and help identify priorities for your community.
