DEFGLIS Award
Info: The DEFGLIS Awards Ceremony stands as the only event of its kind — a national celebration honouring Defence personnel and veterans who make outstanding, direct contributions to the LGBTIQA+ community. These awards shine a spotlight on the leaders, advocates, and quiet achievers whose courage, service, and commitment strengthen both Defence and the diverse communities it represents. Each category recognises individuals and teams who drive inclusion, champion visibility, and create lasting, positive change. It’s a moment of pride, gratitude, and inspiration as we celebrate those who elevate our community and embody the very best of Defence values.
