Deep into the Darkness invites you into the strange, beautiful, and unsettling world of Edgar Allan Poe. The production brings together some of Poe’s most haunting stories and poems, creating an evening filled with mystery, fear, beauty, and a little bit of fun in the darkness.
Originally created as a touring production by Whitney Larsen, Lesley Larsen, and Melissa Branin Wheeler, this new version expands the original with additional music and a fresh cast. Wheeler’s original music adds another layer to Poe’s stories, bringing out both the darkness and the humanity in his work.
Whether you’ve been a Poe fan forever or are simply looking for something different to do this Halloween, Deep into the Darkness invites you to spend an evening with Poe and experience his most familiar stories in a whole new way.
