About this Event
DEDTALK is an intimate gathering centered around reducing the taboo around the topic of death through conversation and mediumship. The conversation can go wherever the group takes it- curious, funny, uncomfortable, philosophical, personal, practical, strange, or anything in between. Together, we’ll create space to talk openly about a subject that is often avoided, connect with those who came before us through an ancestor ritual, and close with a group mediumship session.
People of all beliefs, spiritual paths, and backgrounds are welcome. You do not need to hold any particular beliefs to attend or participate. However, please know that elements of the evening, including the ancestor ritual and mediumship session, are spiritual in nature. You are invited to approach them in whatever way feels authentic and comfortable for you.

Accessibility note: Our gathering space is located on the top floor of the building, and unfortunately there is no elevator. Attendees must be able to climb several flights of stairs to reach the space.
