DDOK Student Dyslexia Advocacy Day!
Come hang with us in person as DDOK kicks off Dyslexia Awareness month with a fun and friendly event where we will focus on Students. Whether you're curious, or just want to support, there'll be activities, info sessions, and cool ways to connect.
We will start off at the OKC Downtown Library in the Friends Room (4th Floor) 3:00 to 4:30. We will have student and parent leaders at stations.
Student sessions will include:
- puppets and role play,
- dyslexia awareness in your schools and community
- assistive technology
We will tansistion to the park for outdoor activities and a walk to the SkyBridge that will be lit Red for Dyslexia Awarness at dusk.
Feel free to bring a picnic dinner or purchase food from vendors at the park.
Join us in wearing Red for Dyslexia. Bring a silly hat or favorite red accessories for group photos.
Don't miss this chance to get inspired and meet awesome people who care about making a difference!
All students must be accompanied by adult or guardian.
