About American River Restoration and its Kitchen 33 Restaurant:
"Welcome to Kitchen 33, a new non-profit 501 (C)(3) public charity, owned and operated by American River Restoration (A.R.R.) headquartered in Glen Allen, Virginia.
ARR has been cleaning trash out of our local rivers since 2017. We have recovered over 1,000,000 pounds of plastic and trash including 542 vehicle tires, 2 automobiles, appliances, gas pumps and a 1950 Sears and Roebuck roto tiller all removed within 20 miles of Kitchen33. Unfortunately, the state and municipalities have an “out of sight out of mind” policy regarding litter in wetlands and they are in bad shape. We have chapters in Texas , North and South Carolina, Colorado, and one coming to Phoenix and we hope to reach 1 million pounds in 2023.
We are the only public charity in the US that cleans our watersheds trying to give the wildlife a chance. Animals can not digest plastic and it lasts forever, and fish love to eat Styrofoam and that’s why there is none in Kitchen33. ARR has hundreds of amazing members and volunteers and please visit our website www.arrusa.org for more information or to join our organization it only takes a minute and it’s free. All donations are tax-deductible."
We look forward to seeing you there!
