For our next book club meeting we will be reading Calamity Club by Kathryn Stockett! I’ve heard so many wonderful things about this book so I can’t wait to dive in and discuss. It’s a long book, over 650 pages, so we will skip the discussion in November and meet in December to discuss. We will be doing our yearly book swap (bring a book you loved that we have not read for book club, wrap it, and we will do a left/right game and hopefully everyone ends up with a new to them book they haven’t read yet!) and cookie swap (bring a batch to share and a container to carry home a variety!). We will meet at Sarah’s house in Raleigh on Sunday afternoon, December 13th at 2:00pm for our holiday book club! See you then!
