There’s just something magical about December and making things by hand. This First Friday, drop in and make your own one of a kind ornaments and gifts, come watch artists create right before your eyes, shop for unique handmade holiday presents, meet local artists, and even get a book signed by a local author. Whether you’re making, shopping, or just soaking up the holiday spirit, December Art Stroll is the perfect place to spend your evening!
Art Stroll is on Friday, December 4th, the store will be open later than usual for Art Stroll from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm; with then even later until 10pm for shopping.
Classes and Events happening during the Art Stroll:
6:00-9:00: Come create a one-of-a-kind marbled ornament. Pick your favorite design then float your favorite paint colors and dip your ornament. This is $4.99 per ornament. Find her in the classroom.
6:00-9:00: Meet local author Kelly Fae Wilson. She has two books out that are full of clean romance and action! She will be signing books in store PLUS stop by to enjoy a game with her!
6:00-9:00: Copper Ornaments,
We’ll be using simple tools and techniques to create beautiful and unique ornaments that you can cherish throughout your life. This class is family friendly for all ages.
No experience is necessary, and all materials will be provided. Just bring your imagination and your willingness to have some fun! Here are some ideas for the kinds of ornaments we’ll be making: Stars, Hearts, Angels, Bells, Trees and more! $14, taught by Rene Venegas. 6:00-9:00: Ugly sweater ornaments,
Participants will be able to choose from sequences, pom-poms, tensile and so many other options to take a hand crafted crocheted sweater ornament and make it ugly. This class is family friendly for all ages. No experience is necessary, and all materials will be provided. Just bring your imagination and your willingness to have some fun! $14, taught by Jenny Venegas. 6:00-9:00: Join Gaye Hurst to stop by and make your very own Crystal Beaded Ornaments. Find her in the classroom.
6:00-9:00: Stop by to meet Elizabeth Suggs who writes romance, horror and poetry books! Come get a book autographed PLUS stop by to enjoy a game with her!
8:00-9:00: Watch the talented Charis Derry do a LIVE Painting! Find her
6:00-9:00: Join Jackie from Journey Bound Designs to come and make an ornament with her.
